You can go in 5 man groups, do dungeons, do 10 man battles, and raids, explore big open zones, farming items, or upgrade points, or some BS conspiracy X commodity the devs want to pawn on us from monsters and engaging in coop battles - live in the field. Youre not gonna meet all 72 players, let alone play with all of them especially at once. things are spread out a bit more than just 3 lanes.

its a 72 player server yes but youre in an MMO. Now imagine u are ure favourite smite character. Im saying it could be an entirely new game, an evolution of the moba and mmo genres, some much needed fresh air, ingenuity for the genres and for gaming total! IF made like a traditional mmorpg! Yes ppl will have trouble running 72 players in one place going crazy like in any game but im not talking about that plz if youd lend your mind Im not talking about putting an extra game mode into SMITE, im talking about it being an entirely different game. It's CALL OF DUTY level gameplay and completely wasted here. but it's just 3 people charging at eachother killing ONE WAVE OF ENEMIES PER MINUTE until we can blow up their buildings.

Imagine big 72 player servers and each server someone plays as an individual character. Big battles, raids, big open land to explore. They have so many in depth characters that a developer could even get away with making a stronger digital merchandise environment than they have in their MOBA environment, if they gave us a bigger open world to explore, more things to kill and defeat. I understand there is subjective value in a quality of a time-era of MMO, players get burned out and their opinions of future generations jaded, but I've played alot of them and felt the same marketing techniques get more desperate and the direction of the games become that of quick bursts of action like in Neverwinter, or if you get WoW and try to catch up nowadays.īack to MOBA games. Over time the level of craftsmanship was pretty good, but also a bit sick as it was actually doing what it set out to do and steal your life. If you make the player enjoy taking a dump behind some bushes in your game, you have replicated that part of their LIFE here.

An MMO for me isn't just a good game that captures your attention, with a good story to capture your heart, it's an overwhelming spree of experiences that capture your entire LIFE. Since the heyday, for me which were EverQuest and WoW, there haven't been any other MMOs to capture my LIFE. I'd like to just be passionate for a moment concerning MMOs. it's at the most, an hour long trash at 5 strangers. SMITE has 70+ characters and they ALL play uniquely!!īut that's where I feel it's wasted. It's like an mmo but with the best designed classes ever. The depth of their learning curves, the unique style of each and every character. 70 player maps where all play in an MMO with exploration and quests, persistent items and loots, gives it more room to breathe, combat systems like SMITE are some of the best in the world today, technically refined and tuned for precision balance, IT'S WASTED IN THESE CoD MAPS!! GIVE US ARMIES OF MORTALS TO DECIMATE!!! TL DR Moba has sick combat and wasted in pizzly 5v5 maps.
