management is here to help in however we can. I know that discussing it will never be enough but it does fire up the need to draw attention to this.Īs always. It must have a community willing to work together to help solve problems like this. You're 100% right, for a community to have good roleplay.

I do believe wholeheartedly that this is not an issue that the management team can solve for the community on it's own. We haven't really dropped in what we can do for players, we're just always adjusting to ups and downs in busy periods for what we do behind the curtain. I think the demand from players on management has definitely increased and we're seeing us struggle to meet that demand at times. I would probably sooner kick a wall until my foot goes numb than say management isn't active. Some people come in and try out RP, some people after a long time hang up the roleplay cape and move onto other games or interests. I wouldn't say that we're dying more than any other server but we are feeling a bleed-off this time of year like we have like for like every year. No game stays actively hyped forever, you can even see that same effect across a lot of the FiveM communities. With every game, there are trends, highs and lows. In the end, we can't make players roleplay, we just moderate, supplement and support players where possible to help reach that goal. We can't make the players creative but we can definitely keep pushing for things to allow for more flexibile and enjoyable roleplay.Įvery step that management can take on their end to fix things, we do it as much as we can, every single day of the week. The mechanics and how much you can do in the city? This is a 50/50 because we create the sandbox and the players imagination fills the gaps on that.

No one would be left and we've had to very much since the instantiation of this system take absolute full discussions on roleplay situations to determine if it contributes to a healthy or toxic server The players from breaking rules? If we removed players any faster with our strict system. The performance of the server boxes? That's always been the priority and required more than just funding a box and plugging and playing with resources. They scream to us to give them the saving grace and truly I say this. I've also heard the doomcries of many players. It's just difficult to get right every iteration we try to take the server.

It's not like we're reading analytics off a page nor is it impossible. We do hear our players across discord, the forums, tickets, streams and their general feelings on things and that ideally helps us determine what is right or wrong for the community however guaging that exact yes/no factor on if something is good or bad isn't really something we can nail each time. I can see that from the numbers alone, being a logitistical nightmare that would not be easy to set up, nor would it become really the discussion that solves all our problems. I do believe and I can definitely say from me having the honor to be in a position to see all parts of the city in equal light, I know deep in my heart, that people made the best decisions they could with the information and resources at hand to make things better for their corner of the city, I guess a portion of the initial problem we deal with on the daily is that it does develop small tiny closed groups in the city, crushing inclusion which is a key part of roleplay. So with big discussion comes big responses because that's how I do.

I would of course, do my part as a player primarily just voice my points as well since forums are a place for big discussion.

With this, I don't think that's the case but I am indeedy, one person. Typically that comes from people firing out threads ranting until their fingers go purple from typing out a really long angry curtain call. To anyone that really posts on the forums, I don't want anyone to ever feel like we're gonna bash someone for sharing a constructive opinion.
